Whether you’re heading down to drown your sorrows of your dashed home-buying dreams or just in the mood for some delicious food, Avocado Con is going to be amazing. We can feel it in our bones. It’s the Bay Area’s first and only avocado food festival, and there’s a whole lot of tricks up their sleeves.
The event will boast 22 local street food vendors, and will feature items like guac-topped burritos, pupusas, and cheeseburgers, citrusy-sour ceviche-stuffed avocados, avo-bun sliders, and panko-crusted avocado fries.
They’ll also be plenty of unique items, if you’re in the mood for avocado shakes, avocado liege waffles, avocado cream puffs, avocado ice cream macaroons, avocado-frosted cupcakes, or even raw avoca-dough chocolate cookie dough — you know where to go to try it!
// 601 Mission Bay Boulevard North, China Basin. It’ll cost $5 to get in, or $35 if you’d like to sign up for the craft beer pass. Sunday, April 8th, 11 a.m. -5 p.m. Check out all the deets on Eventbrite and Facebook.
