At this point, there is little left to be known about the OnePlus 3. The full specs of the handset has already leaked, and so has its press render revealing its beautiful design. OnePlus has also already announced that it will once again be holding a VR launch event for the OnePlus 3, and going a step further, it will also be selling the phone in VR this time around. However, what has remained unknown is when the company plans to hold the launch event. Rumors point towards the handset being unveiled towards the end of Q2, 16, but no concrete details have leaked on this front. Sadly for OnePlus, their best kept secret about their upcoming flagship killer has been leaked by one of their live chat representatives. In a live chat, a OnePlus representative revealed that the “OnePlus 3 will be fully revealed on June 14th,” which is less than three weeks from now.
Compared to last two years, OnePlus seem to have tweaked their marketing strategy this time around as they are no longer unnecessarily hyping the device before its official unveiling. Perhaps this time, they want their product to do all the talking. The upcoming flagship killer from the Never Settle company will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, up to 6GB RAM, 64GB of storage space, NFC, and a 3,000mAh battery. It will also come with Dash Charge, a new form of fast charging technology.
